We are very excited to announce the official formation of The Friends of The Park, a membership group created to capture the momentum and excitement of The Park’s 2012 opening. The group will ensure The Park is a success from day one by increasing awareness of and support of The Park through membership drives, social and educational events, speaking engagements and fundraisers.

Volunteer support is a huge part of how The Park will succeed. We are grateful to have a group of passionate, energetic people who are eager to share the plans, progress and promise of The Park.

The Steering Committee, led by co-chairs Glenn Singleton and Missy Wyszynski, includes Josh Ellis, Melinda Jones, Gianni R. LaBarba, Katherine Mathes, Robert Mead, David Owen and Steve White. A group of approximately 30 founding members have been invited to help launch the group.

The Friends of The Park and the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation will host the launch party, planned for September 2010.  Join now to receive the latest information about The Park and to be invited to the “friend-raising” event.

We encourage those who care about Dallas' future to join the Friends of The Park and make an impact for generations to come. For more information regarding membership, visit www.theparkdallas.org/friends

The Park helps spur new developments. The $200 million skyscraper is set to break ground next week. Located within the up-and-coming arts district, one of Dallas' most sought after addresses, Museum Tower boasts its location as the chief selling point and gives credit to The Park; “the cherished front yard of Museum Tower will consist of Dallas' new central park - an idyllic urban oasis in the heart of the city.” It will be perfectly situated among 26 of Dallas’ most acclaimed cultural institutions, the largest arts district in the country. The luxury high-rise condominium is expected to join the $2 billion Dallas Arts District in 2012.
We look forward to this gorgeous high-rise opening its doors. Welcome to the neighborhood!
